ASp Upload Script is a script that enables uploading of files from a web browser like Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator to your web space, making this an essential facility to enable any website to become more interactive and functional. The script has been used in many different ways for :

• Houses for sale (users upload their house photo)
• Cars for sale (users upload their car photo)
• Date online (users can upload a picture of themselves)
• Help forum files (users can upload documents or programs of interest for easy retrieval by other users)

This script is pure VB (ASP3 coding) which can be used on any server running ASP (active server pages). It is not a component so all you need to do is ftp it to your web and away you go. The only criteria is that write permissions are set for the folder where the files will be uploaded to. This in most cases are already set, if not a simple email or call to your ISP to grant the permissions is all you need.

Most other solutions use components ie SA Fileup or ASPupload which have to be installed and executed on your ISP web server before you can even try and upload files using a browser.
